Timothy A. Ficker — Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President, Controller and Assistant Secretary at Cimarex Energy Co

Mr. Timothy A. Ficker has been Controller of Cimarex Energy Co. since September 2016. Mr. Ficker has been Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President and Assistant Secretary of Cimarex Energy Co. since February 2017. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Venoco Acquisition Company GP LLC, the General Partner of Venoco Acquisition Company, L.P. since October 2007 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer of Venoco Acquisition Company GP LLC. Mr. Ficker served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Denver Parent Corporation from January 2012 to October 20, 2014 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Ficker served as the Chief Financial Officer of Venoco, Inc. from April 3, 2007 to October 20, 2014. He has over 15 years of energy industry-related financial, audit, risk management and SEC compliance experience. He served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and secretary of Infinity Energy Resources Inc. from May 16, 2005 to March 31, 2007. He was an Audit Partner in KPMG LLP's energy audit practice in Denver. From June 2002 to September 2003, he served as an Audit Director for KPMG LLP. From September 1989 to June 2002, he worked for Arthur Andersen LLP, including as an audit partner after September 2001, where he served clients primarily in the energy industry. His energy clients at KPMG and Arthur Andersen included domestic and international integrated energy companies. Mr. Ficker is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Colorado and Texas Societies of CPAs. Mr. Ficker is a Certified Public Accountant and B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
