Erin A. Skala — Managing Director and Head of Specialty Casualty Reinsurance at Cincinnati Financial Corporation

Mrs. Erin A. Skala has been Managing Director and Head of Specialty Casualty Reinsurance at Cincinnati Financial Corporation since August 2016. Mrs. Skala has been Vice President of Cincinnati Re at The Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. since January 27, 2017. She has more than 20 years of experience in property reinsurance underwriting, broking and catastrophe modeling. She served as Managing Director and Head of Property Reinsurance of The Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. since August 2016. Mrs. Skala served as President and Chief Operating Officer of ACE Tempest Re Bermuda at Chubb Limited (formerly, ACE Limited) since June 2007. Mrs. Skala was responsible for all operating aspects of ACE's Bermuda-based property and casualty reinsurance business, including underwriting, finance, claims and administration. Mrs. Skala served as Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer for U.S. Property Catastrophe at ACE Tempest Re Bermuda. She joined ACE Tempest Re in July 2002 as Vice President of US Property Catastrophe. She served as Vice President at Benfield, Inc. (formerly, E.W. Blanch Co.) where she spent a total of eight years in various roles with a focus on Property Catastrophe business, served as a reinsurance broker and served for five years in the organization's catastrophe modeling unit (Catalyst). Mrs. Skala holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke College and the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation.
