Mr. R. Phillip Sandercox, CPCU, ARe has been a Vice President of Cincinnati Re at The Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc., The Cincinnati Indemnity Company and The Cincinnati Casualty Company since January 27, 2017. Mr. Sandercox served as Managing Director and Head of Specialty Casualty Reinsurance at Cincinnati Financial Corporation since August 2016. Mr. Sandercox oversees the strategic direction, underwriting and marketing of Cincinnati's specialty casualty reinsurance assumed portfolio. Mr. Sandercox served as Managing Director and Head of Specialty Casualty Reinsurance at the Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. since August 2016. A 28-year veteran of the reinsurance industry, Mr. Sandercox served as Senior Vice President and Head of Specialty Casualty Reinsurance at Aspen Re America Inc. and was formerly at Gen Re and Willis Re. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designations. Mr. Sandercox earned his Bachelor's degree from Bethany College and his Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
