Executive Bio

Mr. Damon D'Agostino serves as Chief Commercial Officer of CIT Commercial Air at CIT Group Inc. Mr. D'Agostino is responsible for all aspects of CIT Aerospace's commercial strategy including aircraft placements, airline marketing and sales, contract management and negotiation, and new aircraft acquisitions. He has been Chief Sales Officer and since 2006. He was the Senior Vice President of CIT Aerospace International of CIT Aerospace, Inc. He served as Vice President of Cit Aerospace Inc. Mr. D'Agostino started his aviation career with AMR Corporation, and has held management and supervisory positions with small business organizations as well as a position with the United States Department of the Interior. In 1994, he joined CIT Aerospace as an Aerospace Analyst, tracking aircraft values, industry trends, and issues of concern to CIT's aircraft portfolio. In 1996, Mr. D'Agostino was promoted to Marketing Officer where his responsibilities included aircraft sales and leasing. In 1998, he was promoted to Assistant Vice President and was shortly thereafter promoted to Vice President - responsible for the sale and leasing of CIT's commercial aircraft to airlines located in North America and the South Pacific. He has been an active member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) since 1996. He serves on a number of non-profit and educational boards and is a frequent speaker at universities and industry conferences. Mr. D'Agostino is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. He also has received an MBA in International Business from the University of Miami.
