Executive Bio

Ms. Jennifer Villa-Tennity has been President of Aviation Lending at CIT Group Inc. since October 3, 2017. Ms. Villa-Tennity serves as Chief Risk Officer of C2 Aviation Capital, Inc. Ms. Villa-Tennity served as Chief Credit Officer of CIT Aerospace, Inc., since October 2012 and served as its Senior Vice President. She joined CIT in 1998 as an Analyst in the Credit/Risk Management Department, primarily responsible for portfolio maintenance of Aerospace, Rail and Intermodal accounts. She was promoted to Credit Officer and then Assistant Vice President of CIT, assuming responsibility for aerospace new business opportunities and portfolio management in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australasia/Oceania. She was responsible for CIT's aerospace business in the U.S., China and Australasia/Oceania. Prior to joining CIT, Ms. Villa-Tennity worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Gordian Group, a distressed M&A and advisory firm. She is a member of Women in Aviation, International and is active with the alumni associations of Princeton University and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the aviation leasing and lending space. Ms. Villa-Tennity is a graduate of Princeton University where she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics as well as a certificate in Political Economy.
