Environmental Sustainability

As part of our commitment to the community, our state of the art headquarters installed a large solar rooftop and carport panel system which generates approximately 1,023,000 kilowatt hours of energy per year. In one year, this has the equivalent effect of eliminating the greenhouse gas emissions from 150 cars and the CO2 emissions from 80,000 gallons of gasoline. Along with meeting the office needs, the system also powers 28 electric car charging stations, allowing employees to commute to work affordably and cleanly.

Community Impact and Philanthropy

We are huge on enriching our community and created an initiative called #CIVICCares that is focused on volunteer programs that enrich the community. All employees are encouraged to spend time during the week and on weekends to give back the community. CIVIC provides 16 hours of paid volunteer time off.
