Yuhong Xie — Executive Vice President and General Manager of Exploration Department at CNOOC Limited

Mr. Xie Yuhong has been an Executive Vice President and General Manager of Exploration Department at CNOOC Limited since May 2016. Mr. Yuhong has been Chief Geologist of China National Offshore Oil Corporation since August 1, 2016. Mr. Yuhong joined CNOOC in 1982 and served in a number of positions in CNOOC Nanhai West Corporation, including Vice Manager of Exploration Department, Manager and Party Secretary of Tepu Seismic Processing Company and Deputy Chief Geologist. He served as Deputy Chief Geologist and Manager of Exploration Department of CNOOC Nanhai West Corporation from 1999 to 2001, Vice General Manager of Zhanjiang Branch of CNOOC (China) Limited from 2001 to 2005, General Manager and Party Secretary of Zhanjiang Branch of CNOOC (China) Limited from 2005 to 2013. He was Director and Vice Party Secretary of CNOOC Nanhai West Petroleum Administration Bureau, General Manager and Party Secretary of Zhanjiang Branch of CNOOC (China) Limited from 2013 to 2015, Deputy Chief Geologist of CNOOC and CNOOC Limited, General Manager of Exploration Department of CNOOC Limited from July 2015 to May 2016. In May 2016, he was appointed Chief Geologist of CNOOC, Executive Vice President of CNOOC Limited and General Manager of Exploration Department of CNOOC Limited. Mr. Yuhong is a senior engineer (professor equivalent). He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysical Prospecting from Hebei GEO University, a Master's degree in Management and Engineering from China University of Petroleum-Beijing, a Doctor's degree in Mineralogy, Petrology and Gitology from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).
