Mr. Travis L. Counts has been Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Concho Resources, Inc. since May 18, 2017 and as its General Counsel since May 2013. Mr. Counts served as Vice President of Concho Resources Inc. from May 2013 to May 18, 2017 and as its Assistant Corporate Secretary from November 10, 2015 to May 18, 2017. Prior to joining Concho, Mr. Counts served in the legal departments of several public upstream energy companies, including his most recent position as Vice President of Legal and Deputy General Counsel of Halcon Resources Corporation. Mr. Counts holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Tulane University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif.
