Michael Colin Connolly — President & COO at Cousins Properties

Mr. Michael Colin Connolly has been Chief Operating Officer at Cousins Properties Incorporated since July 14, 2016 and as its President since July 28, 2017. Mr. Connolly served as an Executive Vice President at Cousins Properties Incorporated from December 2015 to July 28, 2017. Mr. Connolly is responsible for the Company's new investments, dispositions and asset management. He joined Cousins Properties Incorporated in September 2011 as Senior Vice President from May 2013 to December 10, 2015, focused on acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Connolly served as Chief Investment Officer from May 2013 to July 14, 2016. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Executive Director with Morgan Stanley from December 2009 to August 2011 and as Vice President with Morgan Stanley from December 2006 to December 2009. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Connolly worked in the Investments Group at CarrAmerica Realty Corporation where he worked on the acquisition and disposition of office properties in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Dallas and Austin. Over the course of his real estate career, he has completed over $6 billion of real estate transactions. Mr. Connolly received an M.B.A from The University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington & Lee University.
