Mr. Michael L. Kelly, also known as Mike, serves as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) at Cubic Global Defense, Inc. Mr. Kelly has been Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa at Cubic Corporation since March 10, 2016. He served as Vice President of Strategy and Development/Strategic Development at Cubic Defense Applications, Inc. since April 22, 2003. Mr. Kelly was responsible for strategic planning, acquisitions, market research and development of long-term growth opportunities. Mr. Kelly served as Chief of Staff and Vice President at Cubic Corporation from August 2014 to July 2015 and also served as its Vice president of strategy and development for Mission Support Services. His experience includes a variety of management positions in defense electronics, general management, international programs, technology transfer, joint ventures and strategic planning. Mr. Kelly served as the segment's Director of International Marketing. He served as senior vice president of business development, international programs at CGD. Prior to his most recent assignment at Cubic, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cubic Advanced Tactical Systems, a joint venture between Cubic Defense Applications and Rafael Armament Development Authority Ltd. of Haifa, Israel. In prior assignments at Cubic, he focused on international business development with emphasis on air combat, combat training centers and communications programs. Prior to joining Cubic in 2002, Mr. Kelly held a variety of positions at SAIC, including General Manager of its joint venture company in Saudi Arabia. While in Saudi Arabia, he also served as Vice President of Business Development for Advanced Electronics Company, Ltd, a Boeing/Northrop Grumman foreign affiliate focused on the manufacture of defense electronics and telecommunications equipment. He served as Contracts Manager for International Programs in the Westinghouse F-16 Avionics Division in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Kelly holds an MA in international relations from Schiller International University in Paris, France and an MBA in Finance from Loyola College in Baltimore, Md. He holds Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McDaniel College, Westminster, Maryland.
