Bonnie A. Charpentier Ph.D. — Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance at Cytokinetics

Ms. Bonnie A. Charpentier, Ph.D, has been the Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance at Cytokinetics, Incorporated since January 2014. Prior to joining Cytokinetics in January 2014, Ms. Charpentier served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs & Quality at Cymabay Therapeutics, Inc. since May 3, 2007. She oversaw all aspects of regulatory compliance for Cymabay Therapeutics' three clinical-stage compounds and directed the regulatory process of advancing preclinical candidates in human testing. She served as Vice President of Regulatory and Quality at Genitope Corp. from December 2001 to 2006. From June 1995 to December 2001, Dr. Charpentier held a number of regulatory positions at Roche Global Development, a division of F. Hoffman-La Roche Ltd., including Vice President and Regulatory Site Head. From December 1993 to June 1995, she served as Regulatory Program Director of Syntex Corporation. She joined Syntex as a Manager of Human Pharmaceutical Regulatory in 1991. She began her career in industry as an Analytical Chemist at Procter and Gamble Co. in Cincinnati, OH. She serves on the Board of Directors of the American Chemical Society. Dr. Charpentier holds B.A. and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Houston.
