Peter S. Roddy — Senior VP & Chief Accounting Officer at Cytokinetics

Mr. Peter S. Roddy has been Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of Cytokinetics, Incorporated since April 3, 2017. Mr. Roddy served as the Chief Financial Officer of Pain Therapeutics Inc. since November 2002 until March 9, 2017, served as Vice President since July 2004 until March 9, 2017 and Corporate Secretary since 2016. Mr. Roddy served as the Principal Accounting Officer of Pain Therapeutics Inc. until March 9, 2017. He served as a Controller of COR Therapeutics, Inc. since 1990 until 2002. He served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of COR Therapeutics, Inc. from June 2000 to 2002 and served as its Vice President of Finance. He has demonstrated excellence in financial management within the pharmaceutical and biotech arena. Mr. Roddy served a variety of positions at Price Waterhouse & Company, Hewlett Packard Company, a high-tech company and MCM Laboratories Inc. He has been a Director of Vermillion Incorporated since February 2010. He served as a Director of Vermillion, Inc. since February 18, 2010 until June 16, 2016 and served as its Lead Independent Director until September 4, 2015. He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Bioscience Financial Officers and served as its President. Mr. Roddy received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
