R. Scott Wheeler — Executive VP, CFO, Director & President at Daseke

Mr. R. Scott Wheeler has been Corporate Chief Financial Officer of Daseke, Inc., since August 2012 and also has been its Executive Vice President since February 2015. Mr. Wheeler serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Lingualcare, Inc. Mr. Wheeler served as Senior Vice President at Daseke, Inc., from August 2012 to February 2015. He served as Chief Financial Officer of OneSource Virtual, Inc., from 2008 to 2012. He served as the Chief Financial Officer for Dallas Draperies, one of the largest manufacturers in the United States serving the hospitality industry. He served as the Managing Director of Dallas at vcfo Holdings, Inc. (also known as vcfo, Inc.) from 2003 to 2008. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Malibu Entertainment Worldwide, Inc. (Malibu Enter. Worldwide) from December 1998 to 2002. Mr. Wheeler served as the Vice President of Business Management for The Beltway Companies, from 1985 to 1998, where he began as the Accounting Manager. He served as the President of Beltway Apparel. He has more than 20 years of financial management expertise. He has an extensive experience ranging from managing well-established, highly profitable operations to building start-up companies and successfully completed turnarounds. He has been Director of Daseke, Inc. since February 27, 2017. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Board at Wing Sail Company, Inc. He sits on the Advisory Board of the College of Business at Texas A&M University ??? Commerce. He was the Mayor of Addison, Texas from 1999 to 2005. He served as the Chairman of the Communities Foundation of Texas Metrocrest Area Fund Advisory Council and a Advisory Board Member of BBVA Compass Bank Dallas from 1994 to 2008. Mr. Wheeler holds a B.S. in commerce from Texas A&M University in 1980 and MBA from Southern Methodist University in 1985.
