Andrew Evans — Chief Financial Officer at Datavail

Mr. Andrew Evans serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Datavail Corporation (formerly Datavail Corporation, Inc.). Mr. Evans served as the Chief Financial Officer of Symplified Inc. since May 2011. Prior to Symplified, he served as the Associate Vice President of NASDAQ OMX, the world's largest exchange company. Mr. Evans served as the Managing Director of Finance & Operations at FTEN Inc. He provided overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of FTEN with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability. He was responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations and provides leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of FTEN. Mr. Evans has broad range of industry experience from venture-backed companies. He has over 20 years of experience in the high-tech sector, growing companies and managing their finance, legal, human resources and administration functions. Mr. Evans served as the Chief Financial Officer of Umbria Inc. and also served as its Senior Director of Business Development. He has raised over $110 million in equity and debt from venture, strategic and corporate investors for companies at various stages of development from seed through private placement. Prior to NASDAQ OMX, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Director of sales & business development for J.D. Power and Associates after successfully managing and closing the sale of Umbria to J.D. Power and Associates, a division of McGraw-Hill. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of InPhase Technologies Inc. and Zight Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Evans managed international investments for US West and spent eight years with KPMG LLP in both the London and Sydney offices. Prior to InPhase, he held corporate finance and public accounting positions at Colorado Microdisplay, Datasonix, US West and KPMG LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Evans received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Birmingham University.
