Executive Bio
Mr. Chris Salata served as Senior Vice President of Development at DDR Corp. from March 2017 to January 2018. Mr. Salata was responsible for overseeing the DDR Corp's development and re-development initiatives across the portfolio. During a time of previous employment with DDR, he served as Vice President of Development Partnerships, Vice President of Redevelopment and Assistant General Counsel ' Development. Mr. Salata first became a member of the DDR Corp's executive committee in 2010. Prior to rejoining DDR, he served as Principal, Chief Investment Officer and General Counsel at Fairmount Properties and also practiced law at the firm of McDonald Hopkins in Cleveland, Ohio. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a member of the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland and the advisory board for First American Title Insurance Company. In 2013, Mr. Salata was recognized as one of the 'Forty Under 40' by Crain's Cleveland Business, which is annually presented to individuals in Northeast Ohio who have achieved business success and exhibited community leadership. Mr. Salata earned a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
