Mr. Kenneth L. Stern has been the Senior Vice President of Peripheral Development at DDR Corp. since March 2009. Mr. Stern joined Developers Diversified Realty in September 1995 as Director of Leasing ' Northeast. He was promoted to Director of Peripheral Development in October 1999 and then to Vice President of Peripheral Development in March 2005. In his role, Mr. Stern oversees its portfolio of excess land and generates new income from the sale, ground leases or creation of multi-tenant buildings on the pads of its shopping centers. Mr. Stern was Director of Retail Leasing for CMS Companies, a wealth management and real estate investment firm based in Philadelphia. He was also a leasing manager for the Core Group, a real estate investment and development company based in New York City and Philadelphia. Mr. Stern graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science from the Smeal College of Business. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
