Mr. Andrew N. Thomases is a Partner with Dechert LLP in the intellectual property litigation group. He was previously working for Dewey Ballantine LLP. His practice is dedicated to intellectual property litigation, focusing on patent and trade secret litigation and patent appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Thomases has also carried out extensive litigation work on cases involving software copyright issues and trademark issues. Mr. Thomases is a member of the American Bar Association, Intellectual Property Section, and the California State Bar Association, Intellectual Property Section. He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and the Federal Circuit Bar Association. He has a B.A. in Physics, magna cum laude from Amherst College, and a J.D., with honors from the University of Chicago Law School.
