Alan Rhoades — Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President at Denbury Resources

Mr. Alan Rhoades has been the Chief Accounting Officer of Denbury Resources Inc. since July 2009 and also serves as its Vice President. Mr. Rhoades served as Principal Accounting Officer and Vice President of Accounting at Encore Energy Partners GP LLC, a General Partner of Encore Energy Partners LP. Mr. Rhoades served as Vice President of Accounting at Encore Energy Partners LLC - General Partner of Encore Energy Partners LP since March 2010. He served as a Vice President of Accounting at Denbury Resources Inc. since June 2009. Mr. Rhoades joined Denbury in July 2003 as Assistant Controller and most recently prior to June 2009, was Controller of Financial Reporting. Before joining Denbury, Mr. Rhoades was Assistant Controller for Amerada Hess Corporation from 2001 to 2003 and held that same position for Triton Energy Limited from 1996 until it was acquired by Amerada Hess Corporation in 2001. Prior to joining Triton Energy Limited, Mr. Rhoades was a manager in the accounting firm of KPMG LLP. Mr. Rhoades received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.
