Mr. Steve A. McLaurin, CISA has been the Chief Information Officer and Vice President at Denbury Resources Inc. since January 2011. Mr. McLaurin has been the Head of National Information Technology (IT) Practice and Partner of IT Consulting Practice at Solomon Edwards Group, LLC since August 2010 and served as its Partner of Dallas & Fort Worth until August 2010. Mr. McLaurin served as Managing Director, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX of Solomonedwardsgroup, LLC since May 2, 2006 in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. Mr. McLaurin, a former PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) partner and IBM executive, has joined to lead the new office as Managing Director. McLaurin has over 20 years of experience working with Chief Financial Officer's and Chief Information Officer's from middle market to Fortune 100 companies. His areas of expertise include: financial accounting, auditing, information technology risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial reporting system implementations. Mr. McLaurin has managed and implemented a variety of solutions, including Hyperion and JD Edwards. Mr. McLaurin began his public accounting career with Coopers & Lybrand in 1990, after two years as a systems analyst with General Dynamics. He became a partner in the PwC assurance practice where he focused on auditing and information technology risk management. Mr. McLaurin transferred to the PwC Consulting practice and following IBM''s purchase of the PwC Consulting, he became an executive with the IBM BCS Financial Management practice. Mr. McLaurin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Evangel University in Springfield, MO, where he also served as a Professor of Accounting Information Systems. He was recognized as Outstanding Young Alumnus by Evangel University. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
