Executive Bio

Mr. Lyndon C. Taylor serves as an Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel of DLP GP, LLC, the General Partner of Devon Midstream Partners, L.P. Mr. Taylor has been an Executive Vice President of Legal at Devon Energy Corporation since August 1, 2016. He has been a General Counsel at Devon Energy Corporation since February 2007 and served a its Executive Vice President. He served as Deputy General Counsel of Devon Energy Corporation from August 9, 2005 to January 31, 2007 and also served as its Senior Vice President and was responsible for Devon Energy Corp's legal matters, including litigation. He was with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP for 20 years and served as Managing Partner/Partner of the Houston office's energy practice from 1993 to 2005 and was responsible for the area of domestic and international project finance, with particular emphasis on the development and financing of electric power plants and other energy infrastructure projects. He served as an Associate in Washington, D.C., office for seven years and spent his final 13 years leading its Houston office. He was represented project developers, commercial lenders, investment banks, construction companies, fuel suppliers and transporters, utility companies and equity investors in project finance transactions. He was actively involved in the development of energy projects in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, the Philippines, Russia, Thailand and Venezuela. Mr. Taylor was represented clients in other types of energy-related corporate transactions, including a number of complex natural gas and petroleum asset and securities acquisition transactions. He was also advised clients with respect to international petroleum transactions involving production sharing contracts, concessions, participation agreements, petroleum lifting agreements, drilling contracts, joint operating agreements, farm-out agreements and other exploration and production agreements. He was also advised clients on federal and state regulatory matters in the energy field, with an emphasis on issues arising under the Natural Gas Act and the Natural Gas Policy Act. He was represented producers, pipeline companies and energy consumers in administrative matters at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Department of Energy. He has worked with a broad range of energy companies throughout the industry, specializing in contracts for the development of major energy infrastructure projects around the world. He has been a Director of EnLink Midstream GP, LLC and EnLink Midstream Manager, LLC since June 22, 2016. He serves as a Director of DLP GP, LLC. He serves as a Trustee of Oklahoma State University Foundation, Inc. He is a Member of the Oklahoma, Texas and District of Columbia bar associations and a Member of the Federal Energy Bar Association. Mr. Taylor earned his Law Degree with Honors from Oklahoma City University in 1984 & J.D. from University of Oklahoma and received Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management in 1981 from the Oklahoma State University.
