Mr. Rick Gideon has been Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations at Devon Energy Corporation since January 2016 and served as its Vice President of The Delaware Basin Business Unit since June 2015 until January 2016. Mr. Gideon joined Devon in November 2014 as Senior Operations Manager of that business unit. He joined Devon from HighMount Exploration and Production, where he served in roles of increasing responsibility. Other previous employers include Linn Energy and Dominion Exploration and Production. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Mr. Gideon holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wyoming.
