Daphna Steinmetz — CTO & GM of EMEA at Digital Turbine

Ms. Daphna Steinmetz has been General Manager of EMEA at Digital Turbine, Inc. since February 23, 2016 and has been its Chief Technology Officer since May 30, 2017. Ms. Steinmetz served as Corporate Executive Vice President of Strategy & Innovation at Digital Turbine, Inc. since February 23, 2016 until May 30, 2017. She joined Digital Turbine in 2015. She has more than 25 years of expertise in innovation, in setting forward looking strategic directions in for companies in the mobile operator ecosystems. She has a proven track record in building and leading innovation teams in global high-tech companies which were market leaders in their domain. She served as Vice President of strategy and innovation for Amdocs and served on several boards including Amobee, now owned by SingTel. She was Corporate Chief Innovation Officer and Vice President of Innovations & Portfolio Planning at Comverse, where she was responsible for identifying upcoming market trends, initiating new services, setting the roadmaps of portfolio products and finding domains for potential growth. She served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of ThetaRay, a provider of big data analytics solutions. She is an expert in innovation, in predicting future trends ahead of time and in turning them into growth engines. She consulted to numerous global VCs and corporates across business domains (EMC2, Convergys, Ness Technologies). She is lecturing in the Tel-University and in several colleges. Ms. Steinmetz has written 9 patents and holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Bar-Ilan University.
