Daniel G. Stoddard — Chief Nuclear Officer and Senior Vice President at Dominion

Mr. Daniel G. Stoddard, also known as Dan, has been the Chief Nuclear Officer, Nuclear Operations and Senior Vice President at Dominion Resources, Inc. since October 1, 2016. Mr. Stoddard served as Senior Vice President of Nuclear Operations at Dominion Resources, Inc. since May 2011 until September 30, 2016 and served as its Vice President of Nuclear Operations since February 2010. Mr. Stoddard serves as Senior Vice President-Nuclear Operations for Dominion Generation. He is responsible for leading Dominion's nuclear fleet of more than 5,900 megawatts, consisting of seven units at four sites in three states and a team of more than 4,100 employees. Prior to Dominion, Mr. Stoddard served as Plant General Manager at Progress Energy's H.B. Robinson nuclear station in Hartsville, S.C. He held several positions at Robinson starting in August 1992. Mr. Stoddard served as a commissioned officer in the U. S. Navy and master instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy from 1989 to 1992 and as a commissioned officer on the USS James K. Polk from 1987 to 1989. Mr. Stoddard was appointed Site Vice President of North Anna in December 2006. Mr. Stoddard is a licensed professional engineer and a member of the American Nuclear Society. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor's degree in marine engineering, Mr. Stoddard earned his master's degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Virginia.
