Executive Bio
Mr. Donald R. Raikes has been Senior Vice President of Customer Service & Business Development, Dominion Energy at Dominion Resources, Inc., since November 2014. Mr. Raikes is responsible for leading all major customer service functions for Dominion Transmission, Cove Point and the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. He is also responsible for identifying strategic business alliances and new markets that are consistent with Dominion's long-range goals. Since joining the Dominion Resources in 1985, he has held various positions in the interstate gas pipeline business unit. Mr. Raikes was part of the commercial team that implemented the wholesale restructuring and also led the commercial team that reactivated the Cove Point LNG terminal. He was also responsible for the commercial transactions relating to the Cove Point Export project, as well as the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) project. He served as vice president-Transmission Marketing & Business Development and assumed his current post in November 2014. Mr. Raikes earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Fairmont State University.
