John T. South III — Senior Vice President, Chancellor of South University and Trustee of Argosy University at Education Management Corporation

Mr. John T. South, III, serves as the Chancellor of South University at Education Management LLC. He serves as the President of Higher Education Services Inc. In this role, Mr. South oversees the Brown Mackie Colleges. Mr. South serves as Senior Vice President for Education Management Corporation. He joined Higher Education Services Inc. in July 2003. Mr. South served as Chief Executive Officer of various affiliated private colleges and Chief Executive Officer of South University since 1975. He has been Chancellor of South University of Education Management LLC of Argosy University Family Center, Inc., Aid Restaurant, Inc., Aih Restaurant, Inc., Edmc Aviation, Inc., Aiim Restaurant, Inc. and Education Management Finance Corp. since October 2001. He serves as Senior Vice President of Education Management LLC; Education Management Finance Corp. and South University. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Argosy University of Education Management LLC. He served as President of South University. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Argosy University from February 2006 to April 2010. From 1971 to 1975, he served as a Banking Officer with Citizens and Southern National Bank in Atlanta, Ga. From 1969 to 1971, Mr. South served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He serves as a Director of Edmc Marketing & Advertising Inc., Higher Education Services, Inc., Connecting Link Inc. and Mcm University Plaza Inc. He serves on the Advisory board of Sun Trust Bank of Savannah. He serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Argosy University at Education Management Corporation. He served as a Director of High Street Corporation since 1997.
