Nanette L. Horner — Executive VP, Chief Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Secretary at Empire Resorts

Ms. Nanette L. Horner has been the Chief Compliance Officer at Empire Resorts, Inc. since August 25, 2010 and has been its Chief Counsel since August 11, 2011 and Executive Vice President since July 01, 2014 and also serves as its Secretary. Ms. Horner served as Senior Vice President of Empire Resorts, Inc. from August 11, 2011 to June 30, 2014. Ms. Horner served as an Corporate Vice President of Legal Affairs at Empire Resorts, Inc. from July 1, 2010 to August 11, 2011. She serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Rutgers University School of Law-Camden where she teaches Casino Law. She has been involved in the gaming industry, as an attorney since 1996. She worked in the Office of Chief Counsel assigned to the Bureau of Licensing of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board since July 2005. Ms. Horner serves as on the advisory board to the National Center for Responsible Gaming's Annual Conference on Gambling and Addiction, was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Masters of Gaming Law in 2008 as the representative of the Regulators Affiliate Member classification and serves as member of the IMGL's Responsible Gaming Committee. In September 2006, she was named the Board's first Director of the Office of Compulsive and Problem Gambling. She is a member of the Standards, Policies and Regulations interest Group for the National Council on Problem Gambling and American Mensa.
