Quais Taraki is focused on using technology to solve real problems, deliver meaningful value to customers, and build durable businesses. He has built organizations that integrate software engineering, AI research, cloud infrastructure, platform operations, and customer-facing functions.
Quais most recently served as senior vice president and general manager for Oracle Health and AI, where he was responsible for modernizing clinical systems, advancing applied AI, and improving platform reliability for some of the world’s largest healthcare providers, including the federal government. Before this role, he led Oracle’s Data and AI organization and guided company-wide data platforms and applied AI initiatives. He previously ran the Compute organization at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and delivered the hyperscale compute products that power enterprise workloads worldwide, including virtual machines, bare metal servers, high performance computing clusters, and GPU infrastructure. Earlier in his career, he founded a machine learning startup and served as an engineering advisor to Microsoft Ventures. He also held senior technical leadership roles at Amazon Web Services and Microsoft.
