Mr. Brandon Rockwell Thomas, J.D. is a Co-Founder, Vice President, Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager at Envestnet Asset Management, Inc since 1999. Mr. Thomas is Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Envestnet, Inc. since 1999. Mr. Thomas is responsible for all aspects of the firm's investment management and research capabilities. His responsibilities include the development of the firm's investment policy, implementation of its investment management and research offerings and the development of new investment products, including alternative investment strategies. Mr. Thomas co-founded the firm in 1999. He also serves as a Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at Portfolio Management Consultants, Inc. Mr. Thomas joined the firm in 1999. Prior to this, he was the Director of Equity Funds and Vice President at The John Nuveen Company. Mr. Thomas was responsible for managing the firm's equity fund activities for five years. Before that, he was a Portfolio Manager with Roberts, Glore & Co. Mr. Thomas started his career as a Securities Analyst with a Wall Street investment management firm. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 securities registrations and the Series 65 investment advisor registration. Mr. Thomas received a J.D. from DePaul University. He earned an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago. He also received an A.B. in Economics from Brown University.
