Ms. Shelly S. O'Brien, J.D., has been the Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Envestnet, Inc. since 2002. Ms. O'Brien serves as the General Counsel at EnvestNet Asset Management, Inc. She is responsible for oversight of the firm-wide legal and compliance function, coordination and implementation of firm strategic business development initiatives, as well as internal policies and procedures. Ms. O'Brien serves as an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Portfolio Management Consultants, Inc. Prior to joining Envestnet, she served as a General Counsel and Director of Legal and Compliance for ING (U.S.) Securities, Futures & Options Inc., which operated ING Barings' global exchange traded derivatives activities. Ms. O'Brien earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Northwestern University, a J.D. from the Hamline University School of Law and an L.L.M. in Taxation from John Marshall Law School.
