Dr. Harpal S. Gill has been President and Chief Operating Officer at Fabrinet sicen January 2011 and March 2009 and served as its the President and Chief Operating Officer at Fabrinet USA, Inc. since January 2011 and March 2009 respectively. Dr. Gill serves as an Executive Vice President of Operations at Fabrinet Co., Ltd. He served as an Executive Vice President of Operations at Fabrinet USA Inc. from May 2005 to January 28, 2011 and Fabrinet Co. Ltd. from July 2007 to January 28, 2011. He served as an Executive Vice President of Fabrinet from March 2009 to January 28, 2011. He served as Senior Vice President of Engineering of Maxtor Corporation from July 2003 to January 2005. He served as Vice President of Engineering for Read Rite Corporation from January 1999 to July 2003. He served as Managing Director of JTS Corp. from June 1996 to October 1998. He also held Senior Management positions with Seagate Technology and Stanton Automation. He has over 25 years experience in mechanical design, process design and development, automation and state of the art quality systems engineering in the United States, Europe and Asia. Dr. Gill received his Ph.D. in Process Optimization and In-Line Quality Control from the University of Bradford, UK and holds a Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Systems from Brunel University, UK. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University.
