Mr. Brian S. Wesbury is the Chief Economist at First Trust Advisors L.P. He is the Chief Economist at First Trust Portfolios L.P. Mr. Wesbury has served as the Chief Economist for the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress in 1995 and 1996. He has also served as a Vice President and Economist at The Chicago Corporation and as a Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at Griffin, Kubik, Stephens and Thompson, Inc. Mr. Wesbury is a member of the Academic Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and is also an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. He is a contributor to the editorial page at The Wall Street Journal, and appears regularly on CNBC, Fox and Bloomberg TV. Mr. Wesbury has received an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Montana.
