Mr. Luis Dario Ganoza Durant, B.Sc. Engineering, MBA, M.Sc., has been the Chief Financial Officer at Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (formerly Fortuna Ventures Inc.) since June 5, 2006 and serves as its Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Durant has 12 years of experience in the operation and financial management of mining companies. His operational experience of mining finance was gained in progressively more senior roles Controller and Treasurer in the financial management team of one of Peru's largest public mining companies which generated US$100 million per year in revenues. He serves as a Director of Atico Mining Corporation. He has a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria, an MBA from ESAN (a Tier 1 Latin American Business School), and an M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics.
