Mr. Michael Sean Merrill Covey has been an Executive Vice President of Global Solutions & Partnerships of Franklin Covey Co. since 2010 and serves as its Education Practice Leader. Mr. Covey has been an Executive officer of Franklin Covey Co. since September 2008 and served as its Senior Vice President of Innovations and Product Development from April 2006 to September 2009. Mr. Covey served as Vice President of Innovation & Products a Franklin Covey Co. Mr. Covey served as an Executive Vice President of Franklin Covey Co. since May 1997 and responsible for Strategic Alliances. He has led the development of most of the Franklin's training offerings, including: Focus; The 7 Habits curriculum; xQ; The 4 Disciplines of Execution; and Leadership. From 1994 to 1997, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Covey Leadership Center. He joined Covey in 1989 and served in various capacities including as President and Chief Executive Officer, Vice President of Client Services Group, Vice President of Corporate Development and Managing Consultant. Mr. Covey is also the author of several books, including The 6 Most Important Decisions You'll Ever Make, The 7 Habits of Happy Kids and the international bestseller The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, which has been translated into 20 languages and has sold over 4 million copies. As the starting quarterback for Brigham Young University, Mr. Covey led his team to two bowl games, was named honorable mention All WAC and was twice selected the ESPN Most Valuable Player of the Game. Mr. Covey graduated with honors from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's degree in English and MBA from Harvard Business School.
