Vivek Kudva — Managing Director for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India at Franklin Resources

Mr. Vivek Kudva serves as Managing Director for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India at Franklin Resources, Inc. Mr. Kudva is responsible for Franklin Resources, Inc.'s businesses across Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. He serves as the President of Franklin Templeton Investments (India). Mr. Kudva has been the Managing Director of India, Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa since March 2009. Mr. Kudva has been an Associate Director of Franklin Templeton Asset Management (India) Private Limited since March 23, 2006. He served as the General Manager of the National Bank of Oman SAOG from 2004 to 2006. Mr. Kudva served as the Head of HSBC's personal financial services at The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (India). He developed and executed the bank's retail growth strategy in India. He served as a Director of Association of Mutual Funds in India since August 22, 2006 and Al Jazeera Steel Products Company SAOG since February 14, 2006. He received an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, in 1986. Mr. Kudva earned a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in 1981.
