Professional Background

Mr. Quincy Jones is a Managing Director with FTI Consulting and is based in Houston. Mr. Jones served as Director of Forensic Consulting at FTI Consulting, Inc. Mr. Jones has over 12 years of experience in the chemical and petroleum refining industries. In addition to experience in litigation and arbitration, which includes all forms of contract disputes and associated damages analysis, Mr. Jones has experience in project evaluation, merger and acquisition support, techno economic evaluations, competitor appraisals, industry analysis, technology management, intellectual property and strategic planning. He has managed many consulting projects for major firms in the chemical industry which have included large scale feasibility projects, bankruptcy restructuring, failed merger analysis and strategic assessments. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Jones served as a managing consultant at LECG's Petroleum & Chemicals Practice where he used his commercial and technical expertise to provide consulting in the areas of valuation, arbitration, litigation support and business strategy. Prior to that, he was a consultant at Chemical Market Associates Inc. (CMAI), a leading source of market and business advisory services for the chemical industry. Before CMAI, he served as process engineer for Lummus Technology, one of the most active process technology licensors in hydrocarbons. He began his career as a process engineer for Mobil Oil in 1997. He also has experience in refining and petrochemical technology with three process patents relevant to the chemical industry. Mr. Jones received his Master of Business Administration in Finance from The State University of New Jersey (Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors). He graduated from The Johns Hopkins University where he received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering.
