Mr. William C. Behnke, also known as Bill, served as President of GCI Network Systems ('GCI Network') since was acquired by GCI in 1989. In October 1993, the sales and marketing departments of GCI and GCI Network were consolidated and Mr. Behnke was Senior Vice President of the new sales and marketing department. Prior to that, Mr. Behnke was a Senior Vice President and Manager of marketing and sales for Transalaska Data Systems, before it was acquired by GCI and renamed GCI Network. Mr. Behnke received his bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from the University of Wisconsin.
