Michael Vedda — Senior VP of Information Technology & Chief Information Officer at Genomic Health

Mr. Michael Vedda, also known as Mike, has been the Chief Information Officer of Genomic Health Inc. since 2016 and has been its Senior Vice President of Information Technology since March 23, 2017. Mr. Vedda is responsible for Genomic Health's global Information Technology functions and their support of infrastructure, operations and development for its multiple and expanding products, services and locations. He has over 20 years of experience in IT and operations, both in life sciences and high tech. Most recently, he spent nearly 9 years at Affymetrix (part of Thermo Fisher Scientific) as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Before joining Affymetrix in 2007, he served as the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Credence Systems Corporation since December 2006. Mr. Vedda served in various information technology and management roles. He served as Vice President of Operations and Chief Information Officer of Edify Corporation since April 1996 until its merger with Intervoice in December 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Jose State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
