Jim Glidewell, CDT, started Glidewell Laboratories with the idea that the patient’s health should come above all else. With over four decades of sticking to that idea, the lab continues its efforts to bring comprehensive treatment to patients across the economic spectrum. Taking its main focus a step further, Glidewell Laboratories began reaching out to numerous local and national organizations, offering laboratory services at low or no cost for those in need, and financial assistance to foundations and charities that also strive to improve the lives of others. As a firm believer in the idea that there is nothing better than giving to others, Jim Glidewell fosters a giving spirit that resonates throughout the laboratory and its employees. Each year, Glidewell Laboratories initiates many donating opportunities focused on bringing employees together to help out local communities. One such cause is the Red Cross. In 1995, Glidewell Laboratories started with a single blood drive — now, the company hosts six drives a year.
