Paul Rainey — CFO & Executive VP at Global Eagle Entertainment

Mr. Paul Rainey, also known as Vernell, has been Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Global Eagle Entertainment Inc. since April 3, 2017. Mr. Rainey served as Chief Financial Officer of Harris CapRock Communications, Inc., from May 2014 to April 2017. He served as Executive Vice President of Harris CapRock Communications, Inc., since April 3, 2017. Mr. Rainey was responsible for the overall financial management of Harris CapRock including overseeing internal financial processes, analysis and reporting. In addition, he lead the forecasting and execution of the strategic growth plan for the business. Mr. Rainey has a wealth of global financial planning and analysis knowledge with over thirteen years of commercial market experience. Prior to Harris CapRock, Mr. Rainey served as Chief Financial Officer of General Electric's Lighting Professional Solutions business from March 2013 to April 2014 and as Chief Financial Officer of its Power Equipment business from March 2010 to February 2013. Prior to March 2010, he served in two senior financial planning and analysis roles at General Electric from January 2007 to March 2010 and from October 2003 to October 2005. He served as a FamilyLife missionary from November 2005 to December 2006. Mr. Rainey served as Chief Financial Officer for North America Professional Solutions, a $1 billion business segment of General Electric Lighting. Mr. Rainey held several roles of increasing responsibility with GE, including positions in audit, financial management and financial planning and analysis in global energy services business. He serves on the boards of directors of Cutwell 4 Kids and America Responds with Love and previously served on the boards of directors of Hesed Consulting, Georgia CASA and the Notre Dame Business Advisory Council. He holds a Black Belt Six Sigma certification. Mr. Rainey holds a master's degree in Accounting and a bachelor's degree in Finance and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame.
