Mr. Dale A. Swanberg has been Senior Vice President and Large Projects Group Manager at Granite Construction Incorporated since January 1, 2017. Mr. Swanberg joined Granite in 2015 and served as Vice President and Deputy Group Manager since April 2015. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Flatiron Construction Corp since 2013. He has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He joined Walsh Construction in 1985 as a Field Engineer. He served as President of Walsh Construction Heavy/Civil Division since 2005. Prior to Flatiron Construction, he served in various positions for the Walsh Group from 1985 to 2012, including as the President of the Heavy Civil Group. He has experience in large-scale heavy civil infrastructure, including water/wastewater, light and heavy rail, airport civil construction and hydroelectric power plant construction. He also led project pursuits for multiple bridge, highway and rail mega-projects. Mr. Swanberg holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Bradley University in 1984.
