Mr. Richard A. Watts has been the General Counsel, Corporate Compliance Officer and Secretary of Granite Construction Incorporated since February 1, 2012 and serves as its Senior Vice President. Mr. Watts served as an Assistant General Counsel at Granite Construction Incorporated since 2010, served as its Assistant Secretary and Vice President. He joined the Granite Construction in 2003 as Division Counsel. Prior to joining Granite, Mr. Watts was Corporate Counsel for Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. He worked as an Attorney for the Cokinos, Bosien and Young. He served as a Professional Engineer for Turner, Collie and Braden and served in the United States Army Reserves. Mr. Watts holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University with honors and a J.D. degree with honors from South Texas College of Law.
