Roby Shay joined Grinnell Mutual in October 2015, as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions and Chief Information Officer.
Shay leads the Information Technology, Project Management Office, and Marketing and Customer Experience teams.
Prior to joining Grinnell Mutual, Shay was managing director of Market Rate Consulting, a boutique consulting firm focused on IT strategy, architecture, and project delivery, which he co-founded.
Shay also served in wide variety of technology leadership roles at American Century Investments, John Deere, and Aviva USA.
He is a native of Maloy, Iowa, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University. He has three children and lives in Johnston, Iowa.
