Mr. Robert Burris, also known as Bob, has been Senior Vice President of Global Engineering and Operations at GTT Communications, Inc. since July 7, 2014. Mr. Burris is responsible for all operations and engineering components of GTT Communications. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Core180, LLC since April 2010. Over three years, Mr. Burris was an integral part of Core180's success. Prior to joining GTT, Mr. Burris served as Vice President level positions at Harris Caprock where he managed its government transport system and global terrestrial network. He has more than 30 years of operations and engineering experience in the telecommunications industry. He served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Core180, Inc. Mr. Burris also has held executive-level operations and engineering positions with Arbinet. At Arbinet, he served as Vice President of Technical Operations; responsible for all field operations, network management and transmission engineering. In addition, he held senior management positions at Cable and Wireless and RCA Americom.
