Mr. Sashidhar Jagdishan, also known as Sashi, is the Chief Financial Officer of HDFC Bank Limited. Mr. Jagdishan served as Group Head - Finance in the Bank, and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in February 2013. Mr. Jagdishan has been with HDFC Bank since 1996 and has played an integral role in shaping HDFC Bank into one of India's leading financial institutions. He currently has direct or supervisory responsibilities for the Bank's Finance, Business Strategy, Administration, Infrastructure, and Legal & Secretarial functions and for various strategic initiatives of the Bank. Mr. Jagdishan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Mumbai and a Masters in Economics of Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Sheffield, UK. He is also a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
