The leadership team is visionary and transparent, they care about the futures of the people on their teams. When we need to have real talk we do which creates a high level of trust. Most of our leaders have grown up through the organization so they understand the business deeply.
Heartland pays for performance, it is hard to find a more equitable plan in a sales organization. No games or moving targets you get paid to build the business. Amazing to share in the ongoing profits of all accounts.
People genuinely care for eachother, there is open sharing about what is working so others can find success too. People routinely go out of their way to help others with no financial incentive. My team has tenure, people love working here and stay until retirement...or longer.
Everything is celebrated, big success and and little improvements. There are real friendships that develop, people that enjoy spending time together outside of work. Heartland is a community of awesome and highly successful people. Sales and Operations work together there is no us vs them here.
There is a balance between making sure the person is right for the role and that the role/company is right for the person. There is a lot of contact with current employees to give people a real sense of a day in the life at Heartland.
I am happiest when I have made someone business better, helped them resolve a challenge. The feeling of satisfaction when others are happy because of your help and support is incredible.
