William J. Walsh serves as Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Hersha Hospitality Trust and served as its Vice President of Asset Management since August 17, 2005. Mr. Walsh responsible for developing strategic growth plans for each property, review all budgets and expenditures, and work with Hersha's operators to increase revenues and margins. Prior to joining Hersha, Mr. Walsh was an asset manager for the Lubert Adler Funds hotel group, GF Management, Inc., where he was responsible for re-focusing its portfolio direction towards tighter internal controls and procedures. Mr. Walsh joined GF Management in 1994 as a Regional Controller and served as its Corporate Controller since January, 2000. He has held a number of accounting positions specifically within the hospitality industry, including controller at such properties as PGA National Resort & Spa and numerous Radisson hotels. Mr. Walsh received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Drexel University.
