Mr. Jeffrey S. Sherman, also known as Jeff, has been the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer at HMS Holdings Corp. since September 8, 2014. Mr. Sherman served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of AccentCare, Inc. from September 16, 2013 to September 2014. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Lifepoint Hospitals Inc. from April 13, 2009 to September 14, 2013. He joined LifePoint in April 2009, where he managed all aspects of corporate finance, including cash flow management and capital structure and was responsible for risk management. From 1990 to 2009, he worked in a variety of capacities at Tenet and its predecessor company. Mr. Sherman has over 25 years of experience in hospital-based and corporate healthcare finance. He served as Vice President and Treasurer of Tenet Healthcare Corp. since October 17, 2005 and managed all aspects of corporate finance, including cash flow management and capital structure and was responsible for risk management. He served as Vice President of Finance of Texas-Gulf Coast region of Tenet Healthcare Corp. since April 2003. Mr. Sherman worked in various capacities for Tenet and its predecessor company since 1990. He served as Vice President, Finance of Pennsylvania region of Tenet and as Vice President of Finance for the former Southern California regions I and II. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for three Southern California hospitals - Lakewood Regional, Los Alamitos and Suburban Medical Centers of Tenet Healthcare as well as John Douglas French Center and the Leisure World Clinic. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Alvarado Hospital Medical Center in San Diego and Placentia Linda Hospital in Placentia, Calif. He has Certified Public Accountant certificate. Mr. Sherman has Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado in Boulder and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
