Rakesh Jha BE, PGDM — CFO & Group Executive at ICICI Bank Limited

Mr. Rakesh Jha, BE, PGDM has been the Chief Financial Officer of ICICI Bank Ltd. since October 25, 2013 and serves as its Group Executive. Mr. Jha's responsibilities include financial reporting, planning and strategy, asset-liability management and technology management and infrastructure. He heads the Performance, Information and Value Management Group, (responsible for bank-wide planning and performance management, MIS, strategic assignments and analyst & investor relations), the Financial Accounting and Reporting Group and Global Asset-Liability Management Group. He served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer of ICICI Bank Ltd. from May 2007 to October 2013 and served as its General Manager. He served as Senior General Manager of ICICI Bank Ltd. In the last fifteen years at ICICI, he has worked across various functions including Strategy, Treasury and Planning. Mr. Jha has been involved in a number of strategic assignments including ICICI's listing of ADRs on NYSE in 1999 making it the first ex-Japan Asian financial services company to list on the NYSE and ICICI Bank's listing of ADRs on NYSE in 2000 making it the first Indian commercial bank to list on NYSE. He was also involved in the successful merger of ICICI Limited and ICICI Bank in 2002 creating the largest private sector bank in India. In his role as the head of planning and performance management, he has set up robust systems for reporting and monitoring bank-wide performance at a granular level. Mr. Jha joined ICICI Limited in the Planning and Treasury Department in 1996. He served as Chairman of ICICI Home Finance Company Limited since October 14, 2016 until February 2017. He serves as a Director of ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Limited. Mr. Jha graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology at Delhi and completed an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management - Lucknow.
