Being leaders for the employees, in terms of ethically improving and overall gaining a better understanding of positive business tactics... or really tactics at all.
Compensation needs to be better buffered by actual benefits, not "feel good" tactics regarding snacks and office tech.
Honest communication with executives on what is and is not working for their teams.
Executives need to care less about putting money in their pocket short-term and focus on long-term strategy.
Prepare teams for interviewees, more targeted and effective questions and exercises.
More diverse board with external voices to prevent echoing of novice business ideas.
