Mr. Joie S. Chitwood, III, also known as Joie, has been an Executive Vice President of International Speedway Corp. since April 2015 and has been its Chief Operating Officer since April 2016. Mr. Chitwood served as the President of Daytona International Speedway LLC until April 2016. Mr. Chitwood served as Vice President of International Speedway Corp. Mr. Chitwood served as Vice President of Business Operations at Talladega Superspeedway, LLC. Mr. Chitwood served as Vice President of International Speedway Corp. He led strategy development and oversees business execution across International Speedway Corp.'s 13 motorsports facilities and Americrown Service Corp., ISC's catering, concessions and merchandising subsidiary. He served as Vice President of Business Operations at International Speedway Corp. since August 10, 2009. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation since December 2004. Mr. Chitwood served as the Senior Vice President of Business Affairs of Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation since October 1, 2002. Before joining the IMS executive staff, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Raceway Associates, LLC, which oversaw construction of the 1.5-mile Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill., from 1999 to 2002. During his tenure at Chicagoland, Mr. Chitwood also served on the Board of Directors of several Joliet-area economic development organizations. In 1992, Mr. Chitwood earned a business administration and finance degree from the University of Florida. He also studied at Cambridge University in England and earned a master of business administration degree from the University of South Florida.
